PABSON membership is mainly open to all private and boarding schools of Nepal who are desirous of voluntarily joining us in our endeavors at national development, growing with us as an efficient and effective school and strengthening our hands to form a more bigger, better, stronger and unified front. There are three types of membership issued by PABSON, namely

General Membership

All desirous privately managed and run schools from playgroup to higher secondary that are registered at the District Education Office (DEO) or Local Agency and under the rules and regulations of Government of Nepal are eligible to apply for general membership at their respective PABSON District Executive Office.

Schools which are ready to follow the PABSON’s constitution, code of conduct and guidelines and which satisfy all the other membership conditions that are framed from time to time can apply for the general membership by paying a membership registration fee as mentioned. An annual renewal fee is also payable by the general member schools every year. The present general membership fees are as follows:

Honorary Membership 

Keeping in view the PABSON aim of working jointly with other similar organizations, PABSON has provisions for offering memberships to such types of organizations. This type of membership is referred to as honorary membership.

Any NGO, INGO, institution, academy, university, college, organization or association that wishes to tie up with PABSON and work together with PABSON in agreement with the PABSON Constitution as a professional and sister organization, can apply to the PABSON Central Executive Committee for honorary membership. In addition, the PABSON Central Executive Committee can also extend this membership to the above mentioned organizations.

Life Membership

Life membership is the third type of membership offered by PABSON. This membership is also offered to desirous private and boarding schools.

Any school/institution that satisfies all conditions of becoming a PABSON member school can apply for life membership by paying the life membership fee to the Central Executive Committee. Presently the life membership fee is NRs 1,11,111/- only. Life members are not required to pay the annual renewal fee.
